BOWLING GREEN, OH, JANUARY 25, 2020 – Nick Rubando, a democratic Congressional
candidate, will be holding a Town Hall Meeting in Findlay this Saturday. This Town Hall is an
opportunity for residents of Ohio’s 5th Congressional District to vocalize issues affecting their
lives and communities.
This Town Hall contrasts the representation of OH-5D’s current representative, Bob Latta. Latta
has refused public Town Halls, opting instead for telephone Town Halls. Constituents are
unable to voice concerns or ask pointed questions, as all comments are pre-screened before
shared on call. Latta has no viable accountability to the residents of Ohio’s 5th District.
The Rubando Town Hall will focus on accessible health care, opioid use, environmental
protections, and economic security. Constituents can also test his pledge to be “available to the
public.” Citizens can vote for Rubando in the Primary Election on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
Rubando will face Representative Bob Latta in the General Election on Tuesday, November 2, 2020.
